Urban traffic has become more congestion with the Chinese economy developed in recent years.The modern tramcars are developed in the domestic metropolises because they have greater capacity than buses and smaller construction and equipment investment than the MTR.It has the characteristics of reliable operation,comfort,energy conservation,environmental protection and so on.It satisfies the requirements of the urban traffic development today.It is of great significance to the modern tramcar’s research.It is essential for the anti-kink system research as a key component of modern tramcar.It can greatly reduce the number of bogies used and manufacturing costs.The anti-kink system has the functions of auxiliary guidance and safe and comfortable operation,which greatly enhance the performance and market competitiveness of modern tramcars.The article takes the anti-kink system as the research object.It introduces the structure and principle of the system in detail.There are two anti-kink systems designed based on the structure and principle of the system.Its parameter range and the selection of components were determined through the design and calculation of the anti-kink system.Finally,the system model is established based on the software AMESim and used to observe the influences of parameters change.The main content of the paper is as follows:1)The structure and operation principle of the anti-kink system were introduced,and the system functions were analyzed in detail.Two different schemes of the system were designed based on the functions.The main parameters and component selection of the system are determined through the design calculation.2)The scheme 1 and the scheme 2 are established according to the structure and operation principle.Both of the schemes satisfy the operation mode of the anti-kink system.The simulation analysis was respectively performed for both of them based on the different values of the spring stiffness values of the throttle valve and the buffer cylinder.Then,the T-car hydraulic control piston displacement in the scheme 1 lags behind that of scheme 2 comparing them under the same parameters.The maximum displacement difference is 5.53 mm.And the auto-zero performance of them is basically same during the running of the tram.But scheme 1(modified)has a better auto-zero performance and scheme 2 has a better ride comfort in the case that the oil exchange volume of pipelines Z1 and Z2 is equal in both schemes.3)Thermodynamic model of the system was established based on software AMESim by analyzing the thermal characteristics.The temperature rise of the system is within a reasonable range in one day of the modern tramcar operation according to the map of the modern tramcar in Taizhou,and it can work normally without adding a cooling devices.
