Inevitably,wheel/rail wear occurs when locomotive and rolling stock are in use.The abnormal abrasion of the flange will change the normal track relationship and reduce the vehicle power performance and the comfort level.The wheel is close to the flange thickness,the wheel diameter is required to restore the flange thickness,which greatly reduces the service life of the wheel.How to effectively reduce the wheel rim wear,guide the wheel economic rotation,improve the service life of the wheel,it is becoming an important subject in the world of railway.China has taken a lot of measures to solve the wheel rim abrasion,but the effect is not obvious.At first,this paper briefly introduces the domestic and foreign scientific research institutions,manufacturers or locomotive depot,etc.,which have taken many measures against the eccentric grinding of the wheel rim.Then analyzed from the aspects of theory and practice the influencing factors of locomotive wheel rim eccentric wear,including locomotive operation line,wheel diameter super bad,aging and bogie assembly process of the axle box rubber pieces,tread shape and wheel/rail material and so on.Then the normal wear law and abnormal wear law of HXD3 locomotive wheel rim were studied.Aiming at the condition of the previous conventional measures the effect not beautiful,mainly studies the HXD3 type locomotive wheel/rail relationship of normal and abnormal situation,and then is to take measures against abnormal wheel/rail relationship,one is for wheel for rail side bias,another kind is aiming at the condition of the Angle between wheel and rail.In view of the relative deviation of locomotive wheel to rail,the method of adding adjusting pad at the end of axle box is adopted.To solve the problem of Angle between the locomotive wheel rim and rail,the method of adjusting pad is adopted.And the first application of milligram energy technology in wheel rim eccentric grinding was proposed.Then,through a lot of practical data,it is proved that the method of adding adjusting pad at the end of the axle box,implementing regulating pad at the end of the axle box,and applying pressure wheel diameter and adjusting pad on the axle box pull rod can reduce the wheel rim wear well.Last chapter introduces beechcraft technology application in rim eccentric wear on the overall implementation plan,the feasibility of the scheme is verified by test first,and then left no wheel turning lathe and hawker beechcraft can tooling equipment for technological transformation,and finally through the partial with bogie locomotive intermediate shaft,the shaft and grinding wheel to the front and rear wheels can implement beechcraft technology to the data contrast,can verify the hawker beechcraft technology application has a good effect on the rim eccentric wear.In this paper,the solution was proposed from the aspects of theoretical rim eccentric wear,and then through a lot of practice for a long time the effect of proposed measures to the theory of data validation,It has certain guiding significance for solving locomotive wheel flange wear.
