The electric taxiing system(ETS)has become one of the promising next generation ground propulsion systems for the “more electric aircraft”.It has beguan to attract attentions of many airlines,because of the advantage of reduction in fuel consumption,time,emissions,as well as noise.The ETS is studied in this paper.Firstly,the types of aircraft electric taxing systems are classified.The benefits and applicable aircrafts of ETS are introduced.Based on the operating principle and mathematical model of ETS,the transmission scheme of the electric wheel on the main landing gear of an aircraft is proposed.The parameters of the system dynamic performance are analyzed and calculated.Secondly,according to ETS design requirements,driving structure of planetary reducer and installation method of the electric wheel based on the original model of main landing gear are redesigned.Thirdly,in order to solve the problem of motor synchronous control in the electric ground taxiing systems of an aircraft,the control of the single-motor speed control system on one of two main landing gears is analyzed and the vector control model of the permanent magnet synchronous motor is established.Implementation method of synchronous control strategy for dual motors on the main landing gears is briefly introduced.Based on the fuzzy control algorithm,the synchronous control model of the double-side motor is established to analyze the synchronization speed deviation of the two motors.The results show that the control method is effective.Finally,for verifying the design of the system,the simulation model of electric ground taxiing system is established by MATLAB/SIMULINK based on the torque control of the system and the dynamic model of electric wheel drive mechanism.The speed of aircraft taxiing,torque of motor and electric wheel are analyzed.The simulation results show that the designed aircraft electric taxiing system is reasonable and feasible.
