Unlike conventional hydropower and thermal power generation,photovoltaic power generation uses distributed photovoltaic panels to complete the conversion of light energy to electricity.In photovoltaic power station,the current of the photovoltaic panels is connected to the inve rter through the junction box,and is eventually sent into the box change,we need to test current and voltage in the process,so the number of the equipments and datas that need to be managed in the whole plant is very large.Traditional communication management machine adopts embedded processor to complete data collection and processing,a processor not only needs to complete the data collection of many communication interfaces,but also to perform operation and protocol conversion,so the processor load is very heavy,just because of this,traditional communication management machines often fail to realize the real-time management of massive equipment.Accordance with the problem of the insufficiency about ports and performance of traditional communicatio n management machines in many photovoltaic power stations,a design method of photovoltaic power communication management system based on SoC FPGA is introduced in this paper,the system consists of hardware design and software design: the hardware design mainly realizes the extension of multi-RS485 serial port and the receiving and checking of MODBUS protocol data;the software design is mainly realizes the data management and protocol conversion based on the MODBUS master agreement and IEC104 from the sta tion agreement to complete the efficient and reliable data interaction between the equipments in the power station and the control computer in the power station.First of all,this paper briefly introduces the research background,significance and development status of power communication management system based on SoC FPGA,and according to the actual characteristics of large-scale photovoltaic power station,analyzes the insufficiency of the function and performance of the traditional project of the communication management machine and puts forward the design requirements of the communication management machine for photovolt power station.Then,this paper studies the implementation of existing communication management machines: PowerPC processor + seria l port extension chip architecture,ARM processor architecture,ARM processor +FPGA architecture,through the comparison and analysis,finally chooses SoC FPGA this innovative heterogeneous computing architecture as implementation scheme that has a larger advantage compared with the traditional scheme in functionality,performance and reliability: using the new-type SoC FPGA integrated with ARM hardcore process as its main control chip,which divides the work of operation and communication of traditional co mmunication management machine reasonably and is implemented by FPGA and ARM processor.By adopting the design of combining hardware with software,this system can simplify the circuit design,reduce the number of CPU's interrupts and the burden of CPU's data calculation for communication transactions,increase the total number of RS485 ports which support MODBUS protocol and improve the capacity of the communication management machine.Finally,detailed hardware circuit design and software design for each part of the scheme are carried out and the prototype verification platform is designed according to the scheme content and the function debugging and performance verification of the circuit and code are carried out.
