With the rapid development of China's economy, infrastructure construction also entered a period of rapid development, coupled with the western transportation development strategy, tunnel engineering gradually developed to high altitude and severe cold area. But the cold area disease, greatly affected the use of the tunnel function, and even threaten traffic safety.Frost damage of tunnel are the important factors affecting the structural stability and safety, tunnels are prone to damage in the cold region. Therefore, taking effective measures to prevent frost damage of tunnel is an urgent problem to solve for tunnel engineering.Due to the special engineering characteristics, such as geographical location, geological conditions, complex environment and construction technology level, there are still many problems need further study.Based on the domestic and foreign literature,on the Chen Jia Gou railway tunnel as the background, the occurrence mechanism of tunnel frost and sprevention measures and temperature field distribution of the three aspects are researched. The main contents of this paper include:1.Frost heaving characteristics of surrounding rock and the frost heaving characteristics of concrete and the mechanism of frost damage of tunnel.2.Classification of the damage degree of tunne.3.From the two aspects of drainage and insulation, prevention of freezing injury are studied.A new type of waterproof layer laid method are discussed.4.In the background of Chen Jia Gou tunnel, the influence of the thickness of insulation layer and the length of heat preservation section on the tunnel temperature field is anasysed with numerical simulation, and anti-freezing expansion measures are put forward.
