Aero engine is the core component of an aircraft.The manufacturing cost of aero engine accounts for about 1/4 of the aircraft total cost.It is one of the effective ways to reduce the cost of maintenance by monitoring the engine fault in time and accurately.The aero engine failure is not only a variety of types,but also has a strong randomness,and the fault vibration characteristics are unique.At present,the traditional processing method,which has been widely used in vibration signal analysis,has some limitations in extracting the characteristics of this kind of complex signal.As a new signal processing method,blind source separation can solve the problem of mixing vibration signal well.This article is mainly done in the following aspects:1.The theoretical knowledge of blind source separation is thoroughly studied.And the existing blind source separation algorithm is compared laterally to find a suitable method for the signal separation of aero engine.2.On the basis of existing algorithms,a fast independent component analysis algorithm based on cumulants is proposed in view of the vibration characteristics of aero engine.The algorithm uses the high order cumulant to reduce the influence of noise signal and improves the computing speed by using the time structure.The effectiveness of the new algorithm is verified by the MATLAB simulation experiment.And the new algorithm is more superior in performance.3.Through the signal acquisition of a self built rotor vibration platform,the performance of the new algorithm in processing real vibration signals is verified.The experimental fault is set to the fault of the rotor outer ring.And the vibration signal is collected by the signal collector.The new algorithm is applied to process the vibration signal.Then extract the frequency characteristics of the independent signal by FFT transform,and get the failure conclusion which is consistent with the experimental setup.
