Today,oil has become a matter of important strategic resource for the development of the world economy,along with the country's rapid economic development,rapid increase in demand for oil resources around the world,oil exploitation and utilization of resources in the various countries,as well as important subject areas.With the development of onshore oil resources,oil development in more countries and regions turned to the sea,this is full of opportunities and challenges of the region.Jack-up drilling rig is one of the key offshore oil development equipment;its operational depth is 91.4-125.0M,Max drilling depth up to9144 m.Cantilever jack-up drilling rig is the mainstream of the current world,is built on international markets in recent years than any other type of rigs.Variable load are the key parameters for jack-up rigs,different modes have different variable load of the rig.Due to the variable-load data of jack-up rigs are important parameters for economy of rig operations,all the rig need to ensure that the important parameters during the rig design and construction shipyard,the owner company and the oil companies are extremely value for this parameter.Variable load design improvement research for the Jack-up drilling rig has important significance and practical significance.The main task of research is seeking the typical schemes of variable load design improvement for all the design disciplines during the whole design process,make the jack-up rig can meet the variable load requirement in rig technical specification and improve economic performance during rig operation.Based on theoretical calculation,economic analysis,feasibility studies and other related methods of design improvement,introduce the proper schemes of variable load design improvement to the domestic shipyard and enhance the international competitiveness for all the jack-up rigs which built in domestic shipyard.
