Designing to produce a more comfortable seat is an important issue in the automotive industry.It is a traditional way to evaluate seat performance by experimenting with actual samples,which leads to the high cost and long cycle of new seat development.In this paper,through the finite element simulation technology to study the seat comfort,it aims to achieve the purpose of supporting the development of car seats.As car seats are often in the vibration environment,the dynamic characteristics of cars have an important impact on seat dynamic comfort and safety.The analysis of car seat static stiffness can reflect the hardness of the seat,meanwhile,and it indirectly reflects the cushion and backrest attenuation vibration abilities.Therefore,the modal study of car seats and static stiffness is an important part of their dynamic comfort research.The object of this paper is a passenger car seat.This article mainly contains two parts:Firstly,numerical modal analysis and experimental verification.Based on the finite element software Hyperworks,a modal finite element model of a car seat skeleton is established,and the free mode analysis is carried out to obtain the natural frequency and modal shape of the skeleton.The reliability of the finite element model is verified by modal tests,and the simulation method of the serpentine spring is studied.It is found that the preload of the serpentine spring has a great influence on the vibration of the snake spring.The follow-up analysis provides a simulation method and theoretical basis.Finally,the modal parameters of the seat skeleton are simulated and analyzed,only to get its modal parameters.Secondly,static stiffness simulation analysis and test verification.Based on the finite element software Hyperworks,a static finite element model of a car seat skeleton is established,and the cushion static load simulation is carried out to obtain the static stiffness and hysteresis deformation rate of the cushion.The reliability of the finite element model is verified by the static load tests,which provides the relevant parameters for the subsequent research on the dynamic comfort of the seats,and provides the reference value for the simulations of the cushion polyurethane materials.
