The ground control station(GCS),located remote to the unmanned aerial vehicle,is likely to increasingly look like a control room rather than a cockpit.Guidelines concern not only the human machine interface(HMI),but also the physical environment of the GCS,including access controls,noise levels,lighting,and temperature control.A ground control station will give the chance to the pilot to communicate with the UAV during the flight.It will also give the possibility to control its position and other system data.The ultimate goal would be to optimize the method of amplitude shift keying for the transfer of data information from the ground control station to the UAV.Positioning the ground station will also give the CS a reference that could be used in the autonomous landing situation.The main work and the innovation of this thesis are shown as follows:1.Take a general idea about the UAV communication with the ground control station.2.Understand the principles of digital modulations techniques.3.Understand the principles of UAV video transmission steps.4.Do some simulation and Matlab programming.
