The micro-engine is a kind of thrust device,whose output impulse is large,and the work time short,with thrust the consistency is well.It is mainly used to for low-cost ammunition attitude control in order to improve the accuracy of projectile from the simple realization of trajectory correction projectile.The article micro-engine has the characteristics of low cost,fast response time,good consistency,capable of trajectory correction of large caliber projectile.Basing on abundant survey and according to the requirements of a rocket,the microengine has output total impulse of 15 N.s.The micro-engine which is reference from the structure of rocket engine,is composed by combustion chamber,main charge,nozzle,block board,ignition part,diaphragm etc.For meeting the requirement of total impact time,the rocket propellant,its characteristics of higher burning rate and larger specific impulse,is chosen as main charge.This stuff in individual weapon system is applied extensively.Ignition part is integrated designed for meeting the requirement of ignition delay time.In order to ensure the consistency of ignition delay time,the response time and output pressure are examined at the time of acceptance.The structure size of main charge and thickness of diaphragm are restricted for meeting consistency of action time.The different types of nozzle are designed for meeting the requirement of impulse.In order to measure the thrust of the micro-engine,the thrust is designed with the method of theoretical analysis.The thrust of micro-engine is measured,the total impulse is 16.75 N.s,the maximum thrust is 1496.8N,the work time is 16.0s.Its output performance reached the performance target.
