The heavy vehicle automatic transmission is the key component of heavy vehicle drive system,and the reliability of automatic transmission is directly relates to the normal operation of heavy vehicle.So its reliability modeling and reliability analysis is studied in this paper.First,the purpose and significance of studying reliability modeling and analysis of heavy vehicle automatic transmission is discussed,then the development of main common reliability modeling and reliability analysis methods are studied,such as FTA?Monte Carlo Simulation and GO methodology.Second,the heavy vehicle automatic transmission is a complex and repairable system,and FTA?Monte Carlo Simulation and GO methodology are suitable reliability analysis methods for it.The theories of FTA?Monte Carlo Simulation and GO methodology are studied,and also the advantages and disadvantages of these three reliability methods are compared in the paper.Based on the comparision results,the GO methodology is used to conduct the heavy vehicle automatic transmission reliability,and the FTA and Monte Carlo Simulation are chosen to verify the validity and applicability of GO methodology.Third,the GO methodology is used to study the reliability qualitative and quantitative anlysis of electronic control system and hydraulic control system of heavy vehicle automatic transmission,and then the minimum cut-sets and availability value are given.Finally,FTA is adopted to conduct the reliability qualitative analysis of electronic control system and hydraulic control system,and the minimum cut-sets are obtained.The Monte Carlo Simulation is conducted to take the reliability quantitative analysis of electronic control system and hydraulic control system,and the availability values on different output modes are given.The calculation results of qualitative and quantitative by the two methods above are compared with the results calculated by GO methodology to verify the validity and applicability of GO methodology in the paper.The results show that the GO methodology is an efficient and accurate reliability modeling and analysis method to conduct the qualitative and quantitative analysis.
