The electric car is one of the important development direction to solve the problem of energy and environment.As an important component of electric vehicle batteries,influence on vehicle performance and security are important.Except a few car companies at present,most car companies of battery management system is not independent development and design,as one of the "three big electricity" component in the electric vehicle battery management system is self-evident.Battery Management System(' Management System,BMS)as an important component of the electric vehicle Battery System,timely monitoring of power Battery monomer voltage,temperature of the Battery pack,charge and discharge current,is shouldering the optimization of the major responsibilities of the Battery and extend Battery life,its diagnosis research and implementation is of great significance,so the unified diagnostic agreement,development of fault diagnosis System,is an indispensable step of marketization of electric cars.There are many ways of battery management system of fault diagnosis,this paper proposes a BMS fault diagnosis system for electric vehicle design scheme,realize the traditional fault diagnosis instrument and the combination of fault diagnosis system on board.For unified diagnostic services(UDS)analyzed,and the fault code,failure status to counter,fault history status,fault frame test,fault severity and fault classification to develop and set up.By combining the actual demand of battery management system diagnosis function,from the main system failure analysis of battery system,battery high voltage safety,fault diagnosis,the fault diagnosis system design,diagnosis instrument design aspects,such as the diagnosis module,battery management system for the hardware and software design,synchronous developed a diagnostic instrument,the electric car vehicle static and dynamic real-time monitoring,control,and diagnosis.
