Research On Automatic Identification Technology Of The Turbocharger Compressor Surge

As a boost machinery,centrifugal compressor has good technical performance and high single stage pressure ratio,it widely applies in the automotive turbochargers.Research on automatic identification technology of the turbocharger compressor surge has important practical significance,this technology can be used on turbocharger compressor performance test and can be used to judge if turbocharger is operating within its safe operation boundary.Currently,research on automatic identification technology of the turbocharger compressor surge is still insufficient.This paper studies automatic identification technology of the turbocharger compressor surge.Firstly,this paper designs a low pass signal amplifier,establishes the turbocharger compressor surge test system and acquires the data of turbocharger compressor surge.Secondly,this paper analyses the data by using different methods;matched filter is selected as the data pretreatment method based on comparing the analysis result.Finally,this paper studies the automatic recognition algorithm of the turbocharger compressor surge and puts forward a new method which recognizes compressor surge by calculating the number of the pulses within a period of time;this paper also builds a verification system through which the accuracy and reliability of the algorithm is verified.The study of this paper shows that turbocharger compressor surge can be identified timely by analyzing the number of the pressure fluctuation within a period of time after adopting matched filtering method to improve the Signal-to-noise ratio of the outlet pressor measurement signal of compressor.Meanwhile,the automatic identification algorithm can be used widely,and it doesn't need to adjust the parameters when it is used to identificate different types of turbocharger compressor surge.
