Bullet warhead is an important part of bullet.Its appearance,size and weight are important factors that affect the quality of bullet.Therefore,it is very important to inspect the appearance,size and weight of bullet warhead after the bullet warhead is finished.At present,the domestic and foreign military enterprises generally use artificial visual way to detect the bullet warhead ’s appearance defect.The size of the bullet warhead is checked by mechanical screening method,and the weighing machine is used to check the weight of the bullet warhead.The disadvantages of these traditional methods are low efficiency,low accuracy and lack of information integration.With the improvement of production efficiency and production standard of bullet warhead in military enterprises,the current detection methods can not meet the requirements.Therefore,improving the reliability and accuracy of bullet warhead appearance,size and weight detection becomes more and more important.Based on the analysis of process flow and detection requirements of bullet warhead’s production,this thesis proposes a scheme combining machine vision inspection technology and weighing module to complete the inspection of appearance defects,size and weight of bullet warhead,the system was designed,the testing platform was built,and the user software was developed.The main work of this thesis includes:Firstly,according to the analysis of the detection of bullet warhead,the general idea of Detecting and Selecting System for Appearance Size and Weight of Bullet warhead was proposed.Based on the bullet warhead production process,designing the hardware platform and electrical control system.Secondly,according to the analysis of bullet warhead detection requirements,the visual inspection program and weight inspection program of bullet warhead were designed.The selection of testing hardware was studied.The appropriate hardware was selected and verified by experiments.Thirdly,after the visual inspection platform was completed the original bullet warhead image was obtained.By analyzing the image,several image preprocessing algorithms were compared and finally the segmented gray-scale linear transform algorithm was selected for the image Pretreatment.At the same time,the edge feature template matching algorithm,the least-squares linear fitting algorithm,the random Hough circle fitting algorithm and the threshold segmentation algorithm which were used in the appearance defect detection and size measurement of bullet warhead were also studied,and the experimental results show that these algorithms Feasibility,and finally completed the appearance of defects on the bullet detection,size measurement algorithm design.Fourthly,the user software development of Detecting and Selecting System for Appearance Size and Weight of Bullet warhead has been completed,and the image display module,data statistics module,electronic scale module,system configuration module,result output test module have been designed and the function of these modules has been introduced briefly.
