Water quality improvement project?phase I?of Nanjiao Waterworks in Dongying is a demonstration project of the major science and technology program for water pollution control and treatment pertained to China's 11th Five-Year Plan for large ultrafiltration?UF?membrane waterworks.Domestic UF membrane was used in this project,and a series of problems encountered in the system integration were solved.It is the first waterworks using submerged UF membrane process in a scale of 100 000m3/d as a milestone of UF application in China.Based on the achievement of phase I,Nanjiao Waterworks expansion project?phase II?integrated the pre-oxidation,coagulation,bio-contact oxidation,concentrated PAC-sludge recycle and UF into a comprehensive tank,and combined the chemical pre-oxidation,adsorptive biological.degradation and high-precision mechanical separation,creating a new concept for coping with the micro-polluted raw water.This topic by permanganate composite chemicals as pre oxidant,polymerization aluminum chloride as flocculant,operation parameters of pretreatment optimized combination process adopts four step flocculation+inclined tube sedimentation tank+ultrafiltration membrane.After the experiment,feeding position and flocculation stirring mode of PAC is determined by the efficiency of removal organic compound,show that the return sludge flocculating technology segment using large hydraulic mixing,flocculation time decreased,with high density sedimentation tank can effectively alleviate the ultrafiltration membrane pollution.With the optimum operation parameters and reagent above determine the dosing location,the raw water of conventional period,high algae period,low temperature and low turbidity period were adaptability research.By turbidity,CODMn,UV254,TOC,ammonia nitrogen,algae,and other parameters as the target parameter,operation results show that the biological activity of activated sludge recirculation characteristics+ultrafiltration combined process to deal with the southern suburbs of reservoir water showed good adaptability,in the treatment of organic compounds especially.In addition,the selection of benzene as the target pollutants examines the coping ability of high concentration carbon sludge return+ultrafiltration combined process of sudden pollution.The results show that,the combination process of high concentration of organic compounds on paroxysmal and persistent low concentration organic matter showed strong ability to cope,removal effect is stable,and the water outlet below the limit of drinking water health standards,meet the requirements of sanitary standard for drinking water.This process was used in the two phase project in Nanjiao waterworks.Through trial operation,the two phase of the project water turbidity is stable,and the quality is better,verifies the applicability of the operating parameters.
