With the rapid development of Chinese economy and Engineering Technology.Inclined pile foundations are widely applied into offshore drilling platforms,transmission line towers,wharves and bridges.The inclined pile is the pile foundation with the angle of inclination,which has the characteristics of reducing earthwork,little damage to the environment,and excellent bearing capacity in some cases,and have a good prospect of application.However,there are few literature about the pile,and theoretical research is lagging behind practical application.It is urgent to provide corresponding theoretical system for guiding the design and construction.This paper takes the inclined single pile and the pile foundation with inclined pilesas the research object,which based on the domestic and foreign literature and the project of HANJIANG Bridge on XIAMEN-SHENZHEN PASSENGER DEDICATED LINE,design the model experiment and numerical analysis with the similarity theory to carry out research on bearing behavior of inclined pile.Some conclusions are obtained as follows:1.when the load is less,load-settlement relationship increase linearly,but the settlement increase rapidly beyond this range.This paper judge the ultimate bearing capacity of the foundation by allowable settlement.The analysis results show that on the one hand,when inclination angle is between 0 degrees and 12 degrees,with the increase of inclination angle,the ultimate bearing capacity of pile foundation increases;on the other hand,when the angle over 12 degrees,the ultimate bearing capacity decreases with the increase of the angle of inclination.Comprehensive consideration of pile ultimate bearing capacity and construction difficulty,the best inclination angle is from 5 degrees to 12 degrees.2.The axial force of each pile increases with the increase of load.The distribution of axial force along the pile body is basically identical under all the condition.In the vertical foundation,the corner pile is the biggest and one in the center is the smallest.Increasing the inclination angle will decrease the share of loads for the corner pile.However,when the degrees over 12,the loads of the side pile is bigger than the center pile,and the corner pile is the smallest.3.The bending moment of pile foundation is affected by the interaction among pile cap,pile and soil,which leads to a complex law.When the inclination angle is 5 degree,the maximum bending moment of pile body occurs at the top of pile,and the moment of pile decreases rapidly with the increase of depth.At the situation of 8 degrees and 12 degrees,the bending moment of the pile top is smaller.And the bending moment increases first and then decreases.At the same time the bending moment curve is parabolic.
