With rapid development of the national economy,people's consumption level and living standards constantly improve,residents of the electricity sector puts forward more strict requirements on the quality of power supply,power supply reliability and fault location,isolation,repair,and the fault line is the power grid can not avoid,so how to quickly locate the fault the repair line,will become the focus of attention in the current society.In our country,in order to improve the reliability of power supply,low voltage distribution network is often used for small current grounding neutral point earthing mode,so far,there are many scholars and grid work personnel according to the features of distribution network in China,the research and development of a large number of fault location method,and obtained certain result.These methods still exist many drawbacks,such as the accuracy of fault location is not high,positioning system prone to miscarriage of justice.Therefore,based on the comprehensive analysis of various traditional distribution network fault location method,summarizes analysis method of transient traveling wave spectrum,through the establishment of an offline database to realize accurate fault location.The main contents are as follows:Background and significance explored the fault location in distribution networks,simply introduces the fault location methods in distribution network at home and abroad,then studies the specific steps of fault diagnosis in network analysis,set the sentence processing and fault results acquisition,decision fault,includes judgment,fault type,fault section judgement of phase.Then a detailed analysis of the significance of neutral grounding mode of distribution,studies temporary,steady state characteristics of single-phase grounding fault occurred in distribution network fault.According to the 35 k V Power Distribution Network in Zhuangxi Oil production plant,puts forward the positioning function of transient traveling wave spectrum analysis method to achieve fault in distribution network.
