The processes of cable manufacturing can be divided into two major processes: the manufacture of cable cores and the extrusion of insulation jackets.The wire diameter of jackets controlled in this paper refers to the line after the insulation jacket is wrapped under the premise of qualified core wires.The diameter of the cable at this time is mainly regulated by the wire diameter control subsystem and is also affected by other control subsystems.Therefore,the cable sheath wire diameter control system designed in this paper is based on the wire diameter control subsystem,and the generalized wire diameter control system supplemented by the control subsystems such as temperature and take-up.In order to solve the problem of lack of control precision and backwardness of the current level of cable sheathing wire diameter control system,this paper studies and designs the cable sheathing wire diameter control system from two aspects:optimizing the wire diameter control algorithm and improving the overall scheme of the system.Applying these new methods and new technologies to cable sheathing wire diameter control systems is conducive to promoting the modernization of enterprises and promoting the development of cable manufacturing.First,the wire diameter control algorithm was optimized.By analyzing the equipment composition,structure characteristics and process flow of the sheathing production line and its wire diameter control system,the specific transfer function model of the wire diameter control system was obtained by experimental test method.Aiming at the limitations of traditional PID control in nonlinear,time-varying and hysteretic systems,a fuzzy adaptive PID control method based on fuzzy control algorithm combined with traditional PID is designed,and an improved Smith predictive compensation link is introduced to overcome the lag.The adverse effects of sex on the system.Secondly,the functional requirements of the sheath wire diameter control system are analyzed,and the deficiency of the current control system is pointed out and the improvement scheme is given.After comprehensively improving the control unit,host computer monitoring system and communication methods,the overall structure of the sheathed wire diameter control system of IPC+PLC+PROFINET was designed,and on this basis,the system software and hardware were designed.In the hardware part,according to the functional requirements of the sheath wire diameter control system,the hardware selection of the host computer monitoring system and each control subsystem,the design of the main circuit and the control circuit electrical schematicdiagram are completed.The software part includes two parts of development of PLC project(including hardware configuration,communication configuration,program design)and upper computer monitoring system design.Finally,the designed cable jacket wire diameter control system was simulated and debugged.Including PROFINET communication,control program,upper computer monitoring system debugging.The debugging results show that the configured PROFINET communication network can realize normal communication;the designed PID parameter fuzzy auto-tuning program output results are basically consistent with the MATLAB simulation results;the host monitoring system's system monitoring main interface information is displayed normally,and can be realized with the PLC.Inter-data communication.
