The Concrete Extended-Plate pile is the excellent improvement of the variable section pile.Since 21 st Century,the pile type has developed rapidly.This new type of the pile is made by the improvement of the bored pile.According to the stress characteristics of the pile foundation,the bearing disc is set in the specific position of the pile,and the common friction pile is the end bearing friction pile with variable cross section.The vertical bearing capacity,the horizontal bearing capacity and pulling resistance force of the pile can be significantly improved.At the same time,the seismic performance is very good,and the settlement change is very good.The shape is smaller.The Concrete Extended-Plate pile is suitable for all kinds of soil layers,and is suitable for clay,silt,fine sand and other soil layers.It can greatly reduce the amount of raw materials such as concrete.It is necessary for us to improve and optimize the pile type continuously,and then provide strong support for the construction of our country.Although the Concrete Extended-Plate pile has many advantages,it is still in the initial stage of development,the bearing capacity characteristics of the Concrete Extended-Plate pile and the failure mechanism of the soil around the pile still need to be improved,and the theoretical research is still far behind the needs of the actual engineering,so the extensive application of the Concrete Extended-Plate pile type is affected to a certain extent.This paper mainly studies the influence of moisture content on the failure state of the Concrete Extended-Plate pile under horizontal force.First,by making four sets of experimental models with different the moisture,the data of each group of displacement,load and so on are accurately obtained afterthe test is completed,and the failure state of the soil in the pile is recorded.It is found that when the moisture content of the Concrete Extended-Plate pile is more than 24%,the horizontal bearing capacity of the Concrete Extended-Plate pile is significantly different from the soil layer of 24% under the moisture.If the moisture of the soil layer is over 24%,the application of the Concrete Extended-Plate pile cannot give play to its own advantages,if in some special cases,when the Concrete Extended-Plate pile is applied in the soil layer above 24% moisture,the horizontal bearing capacity should be fully considered and calculated to ensure the safety of the project,and the best effect will be obtained by using the Concrete Extended-Plate pile in the soil layer of about 15% of the soil.It is preliminarily concluded that the failure mechanism of the Concrete Extended-Plate pile under horizontal load is basically the failure mechanism.The horizontal force of the Concrete Extended-Plate pile is more than the soil pressure on the pile side,and the stress balance of the pile is broken and the displacement value is too large to meet the relevant regulations,or the soil shear stress of the Concrete Extended-Plate pile is greater than the soil resistance.Secondly,the physical indexes of the water content of the silty clay are measured by the ring knife sampling,and the model pile is simulated and analyzed by ANSYS software,and the related data of each test model are obtained,and the conclusion is as follows: when the moisture of the soil layer is greater than 24%,the horizontal bearing capacity of the Concrete Extended-Plate pile is poor,the greater the moisture of the soil layer,the worse the horizontal bearing capacity of the Concrete Extended-Plate pile is.Finally,the experimental results are compared with the ANSYS numerical simulation results.It is found that the experimental results are in agreement with the ANSYS numerical simulation results.In this paper,the effect of the moisture on the horizontal bearing capacity of the Concrete Extended-Plate pile and the failure state of pile soil is studied,and the theoretical analysis results of the horizontal bearing capacity of the Concrete Extended-Plate pile is further improved.
