With the increasing of power system and complexity of power network structure,large power grid has brought more economic benefits,which are based on the safe and stable operation of the power grid.Therefore,how to improve the stability of power system is one of the most important problems we pay attention to.Aiming at the stability of power system,an improved backstepping adaptive method is proposed in this paper.Based on the traditional backstepping method,a new backstepping adaptive controller and adaptive law based on error compensation are designed.The simulation results show that the proposed method can significantly improve the identification speed of the system,reduce the overshoot and accelerate the response speed of the system.The main research contributions are as follows:Firstly,this paper introduces the background significance and application status of power system research,at the same time,nonlinear control method is introduced.On this basis,the adaptive backstepping algorithm and the error compensation algorithm are combined for the first time to study the control design of a single machine infinite power system with valve control.An improved backstepping nonlinear controller is designed and a module is built in MATLAB.The effectiveness of the proposed method is proved by a simulation example.Then,the control design of a single machine infinite power system with static var compensation is studied.An improved controller is introduced to ensure the state convergence of the closed-loop error system,and also the stability of power system with static reactive power compensation is solved.Finally,studied the reactive power compensator with synchronous single machine infinite design problem of robust control in power system,improve the anti-interference ability of the system,improve the system performance,the simulation results also proved the effectiveness of the proposed method in this paper.Finally,the conclusions,the unsolved problems and the prospect of future work are introduced in the last section.
