In recent years, the development of highway tunnels in our country has been rapid, but the resources, energy, water vapor pollutants, and solid wastes consumed during the construction, operation, and demolition of the road have received much attention. At present, there are few studies on the environmental impact assessment of the highway tunnel life cycle. Therefore, this article takes the concrete project case as the research object, takes the life cycle assessment as the framework, and uses the environmental impact model and the impact cost model to quantitatively analyze the phases of the project instance life cycle. The impact of the environment is as follows.(1)Establish an environmental impact assessment data list calculation model, use the Eco-indicator99 impact assessment method to analyze the engineering examples, obtain the quantified value of the environmental impact of each phase of the highway tunnel, analyze the quantified values, and propose the green of the road tunnel.Development proposals.(2)Using the environmental impact cost analysis model, calculate the economic loss value caused by environmental pollution during the life cycle of road tunnels, and obtain the environmental impact cost values and various environmental impact cost values in each phase.Among them, various environmental impact cost values are resource consumption costs, air pollution costs, solid waste disposal costs, water pollution costs, and noise pollution costs.(3)Comparing the analysis results of the two models,it is concluded that the material production phase in the life cycle of the highway tunnel has the greatest impact on the environment, and the others are the operation and maintenance phase, the construction phase, the demolition and the solid waste treatment phase.(4)During the life cycle of a highway tunnel, the percentage of the contribution value to the environmental load of each phase in the total value is different from the percentage of the total cost of environmental impact in each phase, but the absolute value of the difference is small. The absolute value of the material production stage difference is 5.73%,the construction phase is 1.04%,the operation and maintenance phase is 0.14%,and the demolition and solid waste treatment phase is 4.716%.The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the environmental impact of engineering projects from multiple perspectives and to contribute to the sustainable development of highway tunnels.
