At present,three or double layer glass steel window in cold area of civil buildings is widely used.When the outdoor temperature is low,the inner surface temperature of the single window is low,sometimes even condensation,formation water,and directly affects the indoor sanitary conditions.The double layer window can significantly reduce condensation risk,as well as reduce the solar radiation energy can be used.In order to improve the solar energy utilization rate of double layer window,this paper investigated the thermal performance of double layer ventilation window,and carry out the following work.First of all,we measured the temperature distribution and ventilation volume of ventilation window by experiments,and analyzed the influence of different outdoor temperature and solar radiation intensity on the thermal performance of the solar ventilation window.The experimental results show that the double layer ventilation window can increase the temperature of the room in the morning,and delay temperature decreasing in the afternoon.The indoor temperature and the thermal collection efficiency of the ventilation window are affected by both solar radiation intensity and outdoor temperature.Then,the physical model of ventilation window is simplified,combined with different turbulence model and radiation model.Double layer ventilation window is simulated by CFD software under several conditions.Comparing the simulation results and experimental data,the results show that the standard k-ε turbulence model and the S2 S radiation model has the minimum error.Moreover,we obtained the appropriate mesh magnitude.Finally,through the simulation calculation,we investigated the influence of the thermal conductivity of outer layer window,the width of air layer,height difference of air vents,the size of air vents and whether turn on the mechanical ventilation on the temperature distribution characteristics,airflow distribution characteristics of ventilation window and indoor temperature.Moreover,we analyzed the principle of double layer ventilation window reducing the risk of condensation analysis.This study shows that the double layer ventilation window can reduce the risk of condensation ventilation in cold area,and make full use of solar energy.The research results can provide a reference for the design and application of double layer ventilation window incold area.
