Train speed monitoring mode curve(also known as speed protection curve)is an important basis to guide the driver to drive and ensure the driving safety.The mode curve is calculated based on the train braking model built into the train on-board equipment,the operation line parameters and the train running states.With the research on the heavy haul train moving block technology,the demand for the accuracy of speed monitoring mode curve is higher,therefore,it is necessary to optimize the calculation of the speed monitoring mode curve.The heavy haul train has the characteristics that the train weight and train length vary greatly with the number of train consists,and the load of the train changes greatly,which makes the train weight and the parameters of the train braking model fluctuate greatly.The acquirement of accurate train weight and the establishment of precise train dynamics model are the important research content.At the same time,how to overcome the interference of random factors and calculate the train speed monitoring mode curve according to the current running status of the train and the line status is also an important research content.Experimental modeling and intelligent control are now the main methods of train control research.Combined with the heavy haul train characteristics,this paper is based on the analysis of the braking process of heavy haul train and the influence of train parameters on braking distance,Firstly,according to the data collected by history,the braking model of heavy haul train is constructed by the method of least square support vector machine(LS-SVM)experiment modelling.And combining with the improved multi-particle train dynamics model,the variation of train braking distance with the initial speed of train braking is solved.Secondly,combining the traction state and the line condition of the train,the predictive controller is constructed to solve the train speed monitoring mode curve.Then,using the method of sequential quadratic programming to solve the control quantity of nonlinear predictive control,the mode curve of train speed monitoring is obtained,and the test method and procedure is presented.Finally,the simulation environment based on Matlab simulation platform and train longitudinal dynamics software is built.A section of the uplink line of Shuohuang Heavy Haul Railway is selected,and the simulation,verification and analysis of the optimization methods of designed speed monitoring mode curves are carried out under the two marshalling schemes of double locomotive traction.The experimental results show that the curve obtained by the optimization method proposed in this paper is a more optimized braking mode curve under the premise of ensuring the safety of the train than the curve calculated from "Regulations on Railway Train Traction Calculation" and "Technical Management Rules and Regulations for Railways".This method is suitable for the heavy haul train operation control system.
