Vehicle Monitoring System Based on CAN Bus stations using advanced technologies including high-speed data transmission between engine and CNG fueling station,data mining based on cloud computing,natural gas engines integrated remote and local control,and fault diagnosis based on case-based reasoning mechanisms has realized a real sense of remote energy management for natural gas engines.The main contents of this paper are:(1)Data acquisition and analysis based on SAEJ1939This paper designed the vehicle monitoring terminal based on SAEJ1939 protocol.The terminal identifies and monitors the data of the vehicle engine based on SAEJ1939 Protocol Data Unit(PDU)and Parameter Group Number(PGN).After receiving the data,the monitoring center could also classify and analyse according to the PDU and PGN.(2)Hardware design of the vehicle monitoring terminalThe hardware circuit of vehicle monitoring terminal is designed according to the function of the vehicle monitoring terminal — CAN data acquisition and transmission.After designed microcontroller,CAN,WIFI module and other peripheral circuit design in turn,the terminal realized the function of the vehicle monitoring terminal which is expected.(3)Software designSoftware design includes the design of the vehicle monitoring terminal and PC monitoring software.The software design of vehicle monitoring terminal relies on the function and the chip manual.And the design includes data receiving and transmission of CAN module and WIFI module.Design of the monitoring center is based on Visual Basic software.The main functions of the monitoring center are the TCP data receiving,CAN data storage and analysis,and the query and display of the historical data.(4)Fault diagnosis system with Case-Based Reasoning After classifying of the vehicle CAN bus data,analysis of those data could diagnose the fault of the vehicle.This paper uses case-based reasoning mechanism.First,cases are added in the case library.These cases includes the description of the problem and solutions.Then the fault diagnosis system looks for similar cases according to the similarity of the description of the current problem,and then the case would be modified as the target case.After that,the fault of the vehicle could be diagnosed exactly.
