With the improvement of the consumption level of the residents in China and the development of the modern commercial society which has entered the era of experiential consumption,the original commercial space has been unable to meet the requirements of the new period.So the large-scale shopping centers have been set up all over the country.However,the shopping centers in China have huge stock and rapid growth.The energy consumption per unit area is very high.Related practitioners lack the energy-saving awareness.All these characteristics lead to a huge energy consumption problem.The energy consumption problems of architecture design are mainly reflected in the following three aspects: the lack of the rationality in business planning led to a "congenital" problem in the overall layout of buildings,commercial space design isn't relevant with the energy-saving design theory,the choice of construction detail is too arbitrary to overlook the energy consumption problems.In order to solve the problem of the energy consumption of the large-scale shopping centers in the cold region of China and complete the energy-saving design theory of large-scale shopping centers,basing on domestic and international research status,this paper carries out on-the-spot investigation and data investigation of 23large-scale shopping centers in the cold region built in recent years and finds the energy consumption factors.Then,on the basis of deeply exploring the function principle and forming logic of each energy consumption factor,this paper sums up some design points to reduce the energy consumption.With the aid of computer simulation technology,the passive design strategy of large-scale shopping centers which adapts to the climate of the cold region of China is summed up with the combination of qualitative and quantitative methods.And finally this paper forms a comprehensive passive energy saving strategy system from overall layout to space design to detail design.The main innovation points of this study are as follows: build the typical case database of the shopping centers in the cold region of China,construct the passive energy-saving design logic with the order of "overall layout--space design--detail design",and put forward the passive energy-saving design strategy of large-scale shopping centers based on the quantitative analysis.
