In the process of shipping or combat,ship fire control relies on its own set of fire fighting equipment,it is extremely important to set a reasonable fixed fire extinguishing system.Halon 1301 is particularly suitable for ship engine room fire for its fine features of strong,fast,non-conductive,low toxicity and no residue.The promulgation of "Vienna Convention on the Protection of the Ozone Layer" made the use of Halon 1301 limited,but not in military,and fire extinguishing agents currently used have both advantages and disadvantages,can not completely replace Halon 1301.Halon 1301 still plays an important role in our country's ship fire protection,prior to the use of the new investment in clean and efficient fire extinguishing agent.Up to now,the domestic research work on Halon 1301 Fire Extinguishing Systems focused on system design,the process of spray extinguishing agents rarely involved,and bottle pressure,injection time,dynamic release and other important parameters of our attention,therefore This paper mainly studies the dynamic Halon 1301 release process.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)Analysis of the calculation method of the pipe network specification,combined with standardized write Excel spreadsheet of the former ship engine compartment fire extinguishing system furnace hydraulic calculation,check the pipe network design is reasonable.(2)The establishment of fire extinguishing agent in pipe flows of differential equations,deduced method pipe pressure drop specifications drawn pipe pressure drop calculation formula.Combined with pressure and density of the extinguishing agent relationship,corrected nozzle pressure and flow functional.(3)Details of the release process of extinguishing medium,and divided into three processes: "garland process","injection process" and "net tube process." Kerosene storage tank fire extinguishing system for the study,each of these three processes detailed analysis calculated the bottle pressure,nozzle flow,nozzle pressure and fire extinguishing agent bottle quality versus time and analyze the different operating Under condition,diameter,the nozzle orifice area and filling density on extinguishing agent release process.(4)The establishment of a physical model of a single nozzle area and kerosene storage tanks,the FLUENT evaporation condensation model expanded to decompression phase transition model of the process of Halon 1301 nozzles were numerically simulated to study the compartment fire extinguishing agent concentration distribution.
