After the satellite enters the launch phase,the fold-unfold mechanism of fan-shaped solar array,which is an important part of the satellite,begins to unfold and lock.In recent years,most of the satellite accidents that had occurred frequently have been caused by the fault of solar array,therefore,studying the reliability of the fold-unfold mechanism of solar array has a significant influence on its in-orbit operation and accurate orientation to sun.Based on the fold-unfold mechanism of fan-shaped solar array,lots of work is done in the paper,the main research contents are as follows:According to the working principle of the fold-unfold mechanism of fan-shaped solar array,the kinematics theory model of the rotational guide plate was established.The simulation of the fold-unfold mechanism was carried out with ADAMS software,and the curves along with time of the parameters,which contained deployment time,angle,angular velocity,angular acceleration,and the impact force of the lock-unlock mechanism,were obtained.The developed prototype test system was utilized to test the deployment time,angle,angular velocity and angular acceleration of the fold-unfold mechanism,and the rationality of structural design was verified after the results were compared and analyzed,which came from the simulation based on MATLAB software and the test based on the prototype test system.The free modal analysis,constrained modal analysis and harmonic response analysis of the fold-unfold mechanism of fan-shaped solar array were carried out with the co-simulation of Pro/E and HyperMesh.The weak links of the fold-unfold mechanism which were found out,could provide the reference for subsequent fault tree analysis of the fold-unfold mechanism.The static fault tree model of the fold-unfold mechanism of solar array was created with the Isograph Reliability Workbench Reliability Workbench,and then was quantitatively analyzed to obtain the failure probability of the top event and the importance of FV of each bottom event,and the failure mode of working failure of the fold-unfold mechanism of fan-shaped solar array was identified.Based on Markov model,the dynamic fault tree analysis of the stepper motor,the electrical system and the position sensor of the fold-unfold mechanism of fan-shaped solar array was carried out to obtain the reliability of the system at a certain moment.The fault tree model of the fold-unfold mechanism of fan-shaped solar array was created,then the reliability of the mechanism could be obtained.According to the main failure modes of the folding mechanism of fan-shaped solar wing,the failure reliability theory models,which mainly included deployment time,deployment angle and impact force of wedge block,were established respectively.The parametric model of the folding mechanism of fan-shaped solar wing was built on the basis of taking into account the dimension error and the pair clearance in the ADAMS/View module,and was simulated in the ADAMS/Insight module.The working reliability of the folding mechanism of fan-shaped solar wing could be calculated and obtained on the basis of calculating the impact force reliability of wedge block with the Monte Carlo simulation.
