| Grille System is an important decorative part of the automobile styling,and the design of grille system has direct influence on vehicle performance.The design of grille system influences the front windward pressure of vehicle and the effective windward area of vehicle,is the starting point of internal flow field of the car,affects the whole process flow,affects the engine performance and heat dissipation performance.The active grille system has obvious fuel saving effect,lower cost,high performance price ratio,and has been accepted by more and more automobile manufacturers.It has become a new fuel saving technology.By measuring the water temperature,oil temperature and other information,the active grille system controls the different opening of the grille by the controller,so as to achieve a reasonable optimization of the cooling flow reduce the running resistance of the vehicle,improves vehicle fuel economy.Active grille system has been used in high-end vehicle abroad,in the domestic car has also been gradually applied,and now many independent brand automobile factory have begun put active grille system to use.In this paper,through the design and development of active grille system of certain models,combined with practical experience in design and development,studied the structure,working principle and function of active grille system,analyzed the influence of active grille system on the vehicle performance,especially the influence of the vehicle oil consumption is analyzed by theoretical analysis and simulation.Meanwhile,the development process of traditional grille and active grille system is analyzed,and the design scheme and technical requirements of each module of active grille system for a certain type of vehicle are introduced.Through the calibration of the active grille system and design optimization,the different sliding curves of the vehicle with and without active grille system are obtained.Using AVL CRUISE calculation and analysis software,obtained the difference comprehensive oil consumption between a certain type of vehicle without carrying and carrying the active grille system.The function logic test and real vehicle test were carried out by the active grille system model,and the difference between theoretical fuel consumption and actual was analyzed.In summary,the characteristics and innovations of this paper are as follows: it systematically introduced the design and development process of the active grille system,through the AVL CRUISE calculation to make the active grille system design and development more rapidly and efficiently,shorten the development cycle of active grille system,it provides guidance for the design and development of active grille system and vehicle fuel consumption reduction. |
