Earthquake is one of the most sudden natural disasters that threaten mankind in many natural disasters. With the development of society and economy,in modern cities, because of population density, limited land and so forth, many high-rise buildings are composed of multiple substructures. In addition,in order to meet the needs of architectural modeling and use functions, many high-rise buildings are composed of many substructures. When the strong earthquake happens, adjacent building structures will easily collide and be destroyed because of different dynamic characteristics and the lack of spacing.Damage statistics have shown that structural collision is one of the most important reason of structural damage or even collapse. Therefore, the vibration control of adjacent structures is of great theoretical and practical significance to the seismic engineering of civil engineering. In this paper, under the support of the Natural Science Foundation of China(51408443),the following researchesarecarried out by means of theoretical analysis, numerical simulation and shaking table test.(1)Based on the OpenSees program, two adjacent structural constitutive models were established.A series of separation distances were set up for the two ten-story and six-story reinforced concrete frame structures, and have the incremental dynamic analysis(IDA)were carried out.The seismic vulnerability curvesare obtained by post-processing via Matlab, and the adjacent structures are compared with each other at different separation distance. The optimal separation distance of adjacent structureswithout connecting dampers is obtained.(2)Based on the OpenSees program, the dampersare connected between the floors of the adjacent structure on the basis of the original structural model, and then a series of adjacent spaces were set up for the two ten-story and six-story reinforced concrete frame structures and the incremental dynamic analysis(IDA)were carried out, either. The seismic vulnerability curveswere obtained by post-processed analysis results using Matlab. The comparative analysis of the seismic vulnerability of the adjacent structures under different adjacent spacing was carried out,and the best separation distance of adjacent structures connecting dampers was obtained.(3)The shaking table test of the adjacent steel frame structure were carried out,and the experimental models were analyzed by OpenSees. The data of acceleration and displacement were analyzed by OpenSees, and were compared with the result of Opensees analysis, which verifies the reliability of the analyzed result of OpenSees.
