Sled test is a kind of vehicle safety test which is often used to instead of the real vehicle impact.It is used to evaluate various safety protection measures and impact safety performances of the vehicle.Compared with real vehicle impact test,sled test is of good repeatability,short preparation time,low cost and not easy to damage,it can effectively reduce the development cycle.However,the existing sled device is of large space and strict requirements on the foundation,the construction of the test site is of high cost.In order to solve the above problems,a kind of sled test device was designed in this dissertation.The elastic rope was used to drive the impact of two sleds to reproduce the deceleration curve.It was applicable to a number of regulations,such as ECE R16,ECE R17 and so on.It was convenient for assembly and disassemble.Besides,it took up small space.Last but not least,it had low requirement of foundation.Firstly,the structure of the sled test device is designed according to the working principle,and the driving force was calculated.Secondly,in order to ensure the reliability and safety of the sled device,the electronic control system was designed based on sled test working process.Thirdly,according to the frontal impact deceleration waveform,the principle of the waveform reproduction device was introduced and the construction was designed.Based on the comparison of several design schemes of energy absorbing tubes,the design concept of lateral compression for energy absorption was presented.Finally,the model of the waveform reproduction device was built and a corresponding finite element model was established.Through analysis,a combination scheme of energy absorbing cylinder satisfying the requirements of various regulations had been obtained and verified by sled test.Research shows that the sled test device is of good stability and able to meet the requirement of impact velocity.The simulation results are in good agreement with the experimental results,the validity of the simulation model and the correctness of the simulation results are verified.The results show that the sled test device and impact energy absorption method can work effectively.
