Aiming at the problem of low efficiency and poor accuracy of manual design of fasteners in aviation enterprises with large demands and design processes,an aided design system for aviation fasteners is established based on the secondary development of CATIA.The aim is to improve the speed of the design of the fastener,save the design cost,avoid the inaccuracy of the manual design,and improve the design efficiency.There are secondary development technology,data base technique and parametric design technique,all three techniques as the core of the system.These techniques save the time of building a three-dimensional model,reduce the requirements for designers and express the parameter information of the fasteners intuitively.There are two extended contents in the fastener aided design system.One is the research of rapid placement method of fasteners on the curved surface,and the other is the minimum cost optimization of fasteners based on the improved genetic algorithm.In order to make up for the traditional equal space point distribution which can not distribute points evenly,and the defect of deformation by uneven force,there is the method of equal chord length distribution that distribute points rapidly and evenly.It is a simple and feasible method to make a quick and uniform point on the surface by means of the example verification and makes up the defect of deformation by uneven force.With a large number of different parameters of the same type fastener in the set environment model,the number of the selected scheme is numerous.They are unable to determine the number and parameters of fasteners quickly.A selection is proposed based on improved genetic algorithm of fasteners.It comes to a conclusion that the improved genetic algorithm got the optimize cost of fasteners compared with the traditional genetic algorithm and the graphic method by the example of steel 35 hexagon bolt.In this way,the number and parameters of the fasteners are selected as the number and model,which can meet the design requirements and save the design cost at the same time.The aviation fastener aided design system based on the secondary development of CATIA has provided auxiliary design functions based on the secondary development technology,improve the design efficiency of fasteners and created more benefits for enterprises.
