The performance of shifting mechanism of the AMT transmission has great influences on the working quality of the transmission.How to shift into the target gear position more quickly and accurately is quite difficult in AMT Technology researching.This paper is based on a transmission refit project of a crawler-type heavy vehicles.By studying the shift process of transmission,an automatic shift actuator is designed to ensure the gearbox have the function what is the AMT transmission has.according to the requirement of the project,The main contents are as follows:Summarizing the types and characteristics of various transmission in current time,introducing the advantages of AMT transmission relative to other types of transmission;introducing the development history and research status of AMT transmission in domestic and abroad.Expounding the working principles of AMT transmission and it's key technology;introducing the types of shift actuator of AMT transmission and it's research progress.Analyzing the structure and power transfer process of the gearbox based on a crawler type heavy vehicle.Expounding the working principles of the shift actuator of the AMT transmission based on the subject.Through dynamic modeling of gearbox shift process and dynamic analysis of gear motion state under different gear switching modes,the parameters of shift force and shift time are obtained.By using the software of Simulation X,the hydraulic simulation model about shifting process of AMT transmission is established,through the modeling and simulation of the extirpating,selecting and entering actions during the whole shift process,it is concluded that the displacement output of the shift cylinder is changing with time when performing related operations,so that the accuracy of the theoretical calculation of results can be verified.It provides reference for the development of related work,reduces the probability of error,improves work efficiency,and shortens the test time.The results of this paper have great significance and application value for the optimization and improvement of the working performance of the shift actuators in the future.
