With the increase in the proportion of composite materials in light aircraft and the increased use of new energy sources,society has put forward new requirements for the fireworthiness of light aircraft.In this paper,the representative electric aircraft is studied,which is powered by the lithium battery of the battery compartment,and the material of its body is composite materials.For the lithium battery can occur pyrolysis or even fire and explosion under certain circumstances,this paper mainly studies the temperature changes of the compartments of the aircraft under the lithium battery fire conditions.In this paper,the independent battery compartment is heated by electric heating to simulate the heat source of lithium battery fire,and different ventilation conditions are setted,so that the insulation performance of the battery compartment and the effect of ventilation conditions brought can be studied by comparing the measuring points temperature of the battery compartment.Then the experiment platform was built to carry out fire experiments on aircraft with the heat source at a certain temperature.A fire model was established to simulate the aircraft fire with the heat source at a certain temperature.The comparison of the experiment and simulation results was made and the fire simulation model was corrected.The simulation results show that the temperature distribution characteristics of the aircraft cabin in the event of a real lithium battery fire and the suggestions are put forward to improve the airworthiness of the light aircraft fire.The results show that the battery compartment has a certain degree of thermal insulation,and the heat dissipation at the two ends of the battery compartment can effectively reduce the temperature of the cabin in the fire.The heat insulation plate of the backrest of the cockpit has a certain degree of thermal insulation.When the battery compartment has a 500 ? heat source,the air temperature in the cockpit of the aircraft reaches 41?.Symptoms such as dizziness can occur when the cockpit personnel work for a long time at this temperature.The occurrence of a lithium battery fire on the aircraft will cause irreparable damage to its structural materials.At the same time,after the battery compartment is burned through,the smoke gas will be rapidly generated and spread throughout the aircraft cabin.The entire process takes less than 3 minutes.Therefore,it is recommended to urgently drop the aircraft or escape in a short time after a fire occurs.
