Solar energy is a renewable,and it can be converted to electricity and thermal energy.Used in building can meet the need of energy consumption.Therefore,the research of photovoltaic/thermal(PV/T)module and their use in building is conducive to the sustainable development of the building.Based on previous research,the paper research on optimization of thermal property for flat plate solar photovaltic/thermal and application integrated residential roof.It can achieve the efficient use of solar energy in residential buildings.Firstly,the review for research and development of PV/T module.It is concluded that there is insufficient research on temperature uniformity of PV/T module,pressure distribution of collector and PV/T system application.Secondly,research on theory of photoelectric conversion and development of PV module,study of theory and methods of solar thermal collector.For the current PV/T evaluation method considering only efficiency of power generation and efficiency heat collection;proposed a comprehensive evaluation method considering for efficiency of power generation,efficiency of heat collection,power consumption of collector pump,temperature uniformity of collector.Thirdly,structure optimization of PV/T collector;designed a serpentine collector,a U-turn serpentine collector,a double spiral,parallel collector,2 modules in series and parallel,4 modules in series and parallel,8 modules in series and parallel;then,designed a variety of tube spacing for them.Numerical simulations of different flow rates for different types of collectors;the results show that the smaller pressure drop and uniform temperature distribution for the collector of 8 modules in series and parallel.Insulated in the inlet tube wall can improve the temperature uniformity.In addition,research on application integrated residential roof.Numerical simulation of temperature distribution and pressure distribution for multi-modules connections.When ensuring that the flow rate and temperature of the cooling water flow into each PV/T collector are the same,the temperature is uniform for a PV/T collect and the temperature distribution between PV/T is approximatel.Because of the model is too large,pressure drop is simulated by pressure equivalent method;the results show that within 64 modules,a pump can be used to drive the cooling water cycle.Lastly,proposed PV/T system in residential roof applications.It is recommended to use a pump of large head and small flow to drive collector.To meet the needs of building electricity,the proposed PV/T system and energy storage system work together.For the use of heat,it is recommended PV/T system and hot water,heating,refrigeration combined use.
