In recent years,the rise of notions such as sponge city and low impact development(LID),rain garden as a way of rainwater resource utilization,become more and more popular in landscape architecture area,however,the design strategy lacks some theoretical basis of ecology,hydraulics and so on.Based on the theory of ecology and hydraulics,the paper analyses the case of rain garden in the classic cases and the professional group of the American Landscape Designers Association(ASLA)in recent seven years,anglicizing the case of the construction design of rain garden using eco-hydraulic characteristics,discussing the influence of eco-hydraulic characteristics on rainwater gardens and the design strategy based on this characteristic.Articles is divided into five a part:first chapter explained the research status both home and abroad,and this papers main direction,clear the content and purpose of this research;second chapter explained rain garden concept,type,structure and the concept of Eco-hydraulics,application status,the characteristics of Eco-hydraulics and analysis the rain garden cases in the hydraulic characteristics of view;The third chapter,combining the second chapter,analyzes and explains the influence of ecological hydraulic characteristics on vertical,planar alignment,vertical-section and hydraulic facilities,cross-section structure and shape,and plant disposition five aspects of rain garden;the fourth chapter draws the design strategy of rain garden based on ecological hydraulic characteristics from the above five aspects;the fifth chapter concludes,sort out existing problems and prospects.Through the study can found that,the hydraulic gradient ratio setting is reasonable for the vertical design of rain garden and its surroundings;The application of bend flow and the width of flow field can optimize the layout and design of the planar structure of rain garden;The distribution of hydraulic facilities such as pebble dam and overflow weir can increase the turbulent energy dissipation of rainwater runoff,reduce the runoff speed,and also increase rainwater runoff aeration opportunity and water capacity of rain gardens;The selection of materials such as cross-section covering layer and planting layer can increase the head loss of rain garden,and "U" shape and other hydraulic optimum cross-section resistance coefficient is small,the flow is large,the engineering structure of the force is better,it is conducive to prevent frost heave damage and resist external pressure;On the basis of the original principle,the influence of plant canopy distribution,the roughness of stems and leaves and rigid-rigidity,configuration mode and density on rainwater runoff should also be considered.
