with the rapid development of China's economy and the promotion of the important development strategy of the area all the way in recent years,the basic construction of transportation industry in our country has entered a big development period.China's total rode miles grow fast which only tens of thousands of km in the 1950's,and has already surpassed the United States and ranked first in the world.Compared with cement pavement,asphalt pavement has many advantages,such as safe and comfortable driving,low noise,large bearing capacity,convenient maintenance and so on.With the increasing of the quantity of automobile in our country,the increasing of traffic flow has brought new challenge to the asphalt pavement of our country,which requires the construction of all levels of highways to develop towards higher quality and higher standard.The study of more efficient and more economical modified asphalt is imminent.Carbon black modified asphalt is a certain amount of carbon black added to the matrix asphalt.Through the high-speed shear and other preparation process,the carbon black additive evenly dispersed in the matrix asphalt at a specified temperature.with the help of the unique physical properties of carbon black,the quality of asphalt for high and low temperature performance is improved.The asphalt pavement in the north area is seriously damaged,mainly due to road cracking,frost heaving etc.The problem of rutting and pan-oil in asphalt pavement in South China is serious.How to improve the use of asphalt pavement performance and reduce the pavement disease have become a problem that must be considered by the construction party and the design side.The carbon black have the benefiets of good heat resistance,abrasion resistance,low coefficient of expansion,low price,rich sources and so on,which is taken into account.Silane coupling agent is used as a modified material in chemical industry,because its carbon functional groups can be effectively combined with some organic functional groups in organic materials to form stable chemical bonds,thus modifying the strength and toughness of organic materials.The silane coupling agent is added to the asphalt,and the carbon functional group containing the silane coupling agent can effectively and chemically bond with the organic functional groups in the asphalt,thus effectively improving the high temperature stability and water stability of asphalt and bituminous mixtures.Therefore,the carbon black and silane coupling agents are added to asphalt as asphalt modifier to improve the performance of asphalt and asphalt mixture,and finally improve the high-temperature performance,low temperature and water stability of asphalt mixture to reduce the asphalt pavement disease.In order to comprehensively and systematically study the high and low temperature properties and temperature-sensitive properties of refolding modified asphalt with carbon black and silane coupling agent,as well as the high-temperature performance,low-temperature performance and water stability of asphalt mixture,this pape carries on the response curved surface law experiment design under three different levels which starting from the choice of raw materials and basing on the three factors of carbon black content,silane coupling agent dosage and shearing time.The influence of three kinds of factors on the properties of carbon black/silane coupling agent modified asphalt is analyzed in this paper so as to determine an optimum amount of carbon black / silane coupling agent and the best preparation process.And through the asphalt mixture high-temperature rutting test,trabecular low-temperature bending test,low-temperature splitting test,water Marshall test,this paper study the road performance difference between asphalt mixtures modified by matrix asphalt mixture,carbon black modified asphalt mixture,silane coupling agent and composite modified asphalt mixture.
