Live working on transmission line can ensure the continuous power supply and safe operation of the power grid.Improve the reliability of power supply and reduce the power loss have become important means of overhead transmission line maintenance.When the overhead power transmission line damaged or a foreign body hanged in wire need be dealt with charged,if the location distance between towers is far,it is unable to use the earth potential working.Then they must adopt the way of equal potential working by workers or taking a block insulation ladder climbed to the job site completely.The traditional single circuit transmission lines have some shortcoming,such as the occupation of land resources high and the utilization rate of the channel low.In order to save the land resources,transmission line with multiple circuits on one tower need a large number of constructions.This line is vertical arrangement which is different with the lead single circuit transmission lines with horizontal wires arranged.When we need conduct equal potential working on the vertically arranged upper conductor,due to operating personnel and the tools,materials and other centralized gravity loads,operating point will produce vertical displacement.Then the lower wire close to the adjacent and it may threaten the safety of operating personnel.Based on 220kV lines,as to the work position of different wires in concentrated load,this paper analyzes security of equal potential working on transmission line with multiple circuits on one tower from three respects.To start with,it has a theoretical arithmetic of operating point about wire stress and sag variation.And it checks the conductor strength and operating safety distance.Next,building the finite element model of transmission line tower system,it has a numerical simulation about wire stress and sag variation.At last,combining with practical work,this paper measures the variations of wire sag.And it has a comparative analysis about theoretical arithmetic and the result of numerical simulation.According to the research results,a method for verifying the security of equal potential working on transmission line with multiple circuits on one tower is developed.
