It is more complicated for deck-landing aeroplanes to take off and land on the deck of an aircraft carrier than conventional aeroplanes on the ground.Therefore,safety is particularly important.The airflow field plays a key role in taking off and landing,as well as in combating other aircraft.Wind blowing through the deck and the edge of the tower will cause changes in the flow field by the wind,which will affect the operation of aircraft.Additionally,the shape and layout of the tower will also influence the flow field,as well as the shape of the flight deck.So the airflow field is one of the problems that need to be solved in designing aircraft carriers.In this present study,steady air flow field is investigated,and an improved model for the overall evaluation of the influence on the deck-landing aeroplane operations is proposed.Using the improved model and the CFD method,some issues concerning the theory of numerical calculation of the air flow field and the effect of overall design elements on the air flow field are examined and dealt with.The details of this study include:1.The requirements of deck-landing aeroplane operations for the air flow field are specified based on flight principles and characteristics of deck-landing aeroplanes' taking off and landing.2.An evaluation model for the air flow field of aircraft carriers is established,and the feasibility of this improved evaluation model is verified by studying the airflow field with a focus on deck-landing aeroplane operations and by running the computer simulation evaluations of examples using examples.3.In the study of the air flow field of aircraft carriers,it is proposed and demonstrated that boundary layer theory and other similar theories do not correctly predict the air flow fields recommendation for correctly computing fields are put forward.4.In the study of the air flow field of aircraft carriers,the influence on the air flow field by the form of the tower and the influence on the landing field by the mast are proposed and demonstrated;the conclusion that the middle-platform has an influence on the air flow field in typical cases is made.
