The interaction between the propeller and the rudder in the flow field is very serious,and the radiated noise is severe caused by the propeller and rudder working in the flow field.Therefore,it is necessary to study the flow characteristics of the flow field and the hydrodynamic noise of the propeller and rudder under the interaction of the hull-propeller-rudder system.In this paper,a 35000 DWT bulk carrier is taken as the research object,the hydrodynamic performance of the propeller and the flow characteristics of the hull-propeller-rudder wake field are studied based on the CFD method with the SST k-? turbulence model.The FW-H sound analogy method is used to analyze the propeller and rudder hydrodynamic noise characteristic.Firstly,the model of the fluid domain of propeller and rudder is established based on the selected objects.The SST k-? turbulence model in FLUENT is used to analyze the open water hydrodynamic performance of propeller behind rudder.The effects of rudder and the distance ratio between propeller and rudder on propeller hydrodynamic performance are studied and compared.The propeller wake flow field under different advance coefficients is compared and analyzed.Secondly,the complete model of the hull-propeller-rudder and their flow field is established,and the Multiple-Reference-Frames is used to simulate the wake flow field.The effects of rudder on the flow field of the wake field were studied.The flow characteristics of the hull-propeller-rudder were compared with different advance coefficients,attack angle and the distance ratio between propeller and rudder.Based on the CFD method,the unsteady wake flow field of the propeller is analyzed,the propeller thrust and torque characteristics under propeller system were studied,and the effect of rudder on propeller thrust and torque was analyzed.The thrust and torque characteristics of the propeller are compared and analyzed based on the actual situation of the ship,compared with different advance coefficients,attack angle and the distance ratio between propeller and rudder.Finally,the FW-H sound analogy method is used to analysis the hydrodynamic noise of propeller and rudder based on the transient analysis of the rudder flow field.The directivity of the total sound pressure level of the propeller hydrodynamic noise on the plane,sound pressure characteristics of each far-field noise receiving point and the axial distribution of the total sound pressure level of the rudder radiated noise were studied and compared with the rudder,advance coefficients,rudder attack angle,the distance ratio between propeller and rudder.
