Passenger transport has developed rapidly However,frequent overturning of passenger ships occurs.This paper presents a new type of airbag anti-overturning device.The device consists of trigger control module,gas generation module and anti-overturning airbag.Airbag as the actuator of the device,its fast and stable deployment and its scientifically effective layout on the ship are crucial importance for the device.This article takes this as the research content,The specific work is as follows.The initial design of the airbag include airbag storage plan,shape,fixed mode,materials and other parameters.Then according to the ship’s one-degree-of-freedom transversal motion model,the safety volume and the maximum inflation time of airbag required by a real ship in the event of crosswind are calculated.On this basis,the folded airbag finite element model was established by LS-DYNA software.The inflation process of anti-heeling under different inflation rates was successfully simulated,The results show that when the airbag reaches the same volume,with the inflation rate increases,the pressure,temperature,gas mass in the airbag also gradually increases,and the inflatable airbag stability is also worse;The anti-heeling airbag deployment process is divided into three stages,the corresponding volume value 50m3,the pressure value 0.153×106 pa,and the temperature value 326K at the end of the second phase can be used as safety parameters when the anti-heeling airbag is inflated and deployed.The Maxsurf software was used to establish the three-dimensional model of the ship and anti-heeling airbag.The numerical simulation module was used to calculate the influence of anti-heeling airbags with different matching parameters on the ship stability.The results show that anti-heeling airbag significantly enhances the stability of the ship;within a certain range,the vertical position of anti-heeling airbag installation is higher,the better the stability of the ship;Longitudinal position of the anti-overturn airbag at the mid section of the ship,The stability of the ship is the best.When the ultimate static angle of the overall model reaches the limit angle of 30°of the ship,the corresponding airbag radius can maximize the stability of the ship.
