Aluminum Alloy has the advantages of low density,corrosion resistance,abrasion resistance,high strength and stiffness,good impact resistance,easy surface treatment and good plasticity and other performance characteristics.As countries around the world have paid more and more attention to the rationalization and lightweight of ship structure,the application of steel and aluminum composite structure in hull construction is more and more extensive and profound.Due to the large difference of steel and aluminum in thermal physical properties,it is difficult to weld directly,and the "Aluminum Alloy-aluminum-steel "transition joint as a medium,can effectively avoid the contact welding of steel hull structure and aluminum alloy hull structure,meet the requirements of structural continuity,sealing and strength,meanwhile,the utility model has the advantages of reliable welding quality,low operating requirements,etc.the utility model is suitable for the actual production technical conditions of the Chinese shipyards at present.Based on this,this paper studies the process and application of the Aluminium/Steel transition joint,and tries to form a technical system which can guide the construction of the steel and aluminum composite structure at the present stage.The main research of this thesis is:1.Study on weldability of aluminum alloy and steel.According to the material selection of the hull steel aluminum Composite structure and the Aluminium/Steel transition joint,the suitable welding method and technology are studied and verified.And according to the classification society requirements,the welding process qualification approval shall be improved.2.Study on welding technology of aluminum alloy and steel structure and transition joint.Phase change "aluminum-steel" transition joint interface when the temperature reaches 300 degrees Celsius,greatly reduce the interfacial strength,so through experimental research,used to ensure the welding method and technology in order to meet the demand of the welding quality,at the same time,can ensure that the mechanical properties of the interface between the steel and aluminum are not significantly reduced.3.Study on welding technology of transition joint.Through the design and research of the joint form and welding method and process,the welding process and the inspection of the connection between the transition joint are determined.4.Study on installation and welding technology of typical steel and aluminum composite structure.The steel aluminum composite structure of superstructure and outfitting typical structures,research and design of welding of steel aluminum transition joint matching,groove machining,assembly and welding process.
