Design And Realization Of Vector Array Signal Acquisition And Transmission Platform

Data collector and transmission platform is an important part of vector array sonar system.As the link of digital signal processing and underwater acoustic signal,the collector and transmission platform achieved multi-channel analog signal collection,raw data storage and transmission and other functions.In this paper,a set of stable and reliable data collector and transmission platform with Compact-RIO platform is designed for the demand for data collector system of vector array system.This design is realized the combination of Compact-RIO platform and data collector board.The reliability of Compact-RIO platform can guarantee the stability of data transmission and storage.Self-made data collector board can improve the flexibility and practicality of system design which satisfies the demand of the vector array system channel numbers and so on.Data collector board takes Spartan-3A FPGA chip as the core and cooperates with eight-channels ADS1278 analog-to-digital conversion chip,which realizedthe functions of data communication with the Compact-RIO interface and analog-to-digital conversion.The Compact-RIO platform selectes NI cRIO-9030.Firstly,completing the driver design for the Compact-RIO platform to identify self-made data collector board and achievedthe function of digital IO communication.Compact-RIO platform includes FPGA and RT.The data interaction between the collector board and Compact-RIO is realized by the interface logicdesign in FPGA.And then passingthe data of four collector boards to Real-Time.The retention of data and transmission are finished in Real-Time.Finally,several tests aremade according to the performance of the platform.The data collecting function,storage function and transmission function work properly.
