With the rapid development of ship technology,ship power system with full electric propulsion has become the important research direction of the world.Gas turbine has the advantages of high power density,fast start speed,low low-frequency component of the noise and high fuel economy.It is an ideal choice for high power prime mover of power generation module in ship integrated power system.Based on this situation,this paper takes the power generation module of the ship integrated power system as the research object,and carries on the simulation research on the dynamic characteristics of the gas turbine generator set under the load mutation in the MATLAB software.First of all,ignoring the extremely complex chemical reactions and thermodynamic cycles in the gas turbine,focusing on its electrical characteristics and referring to the Rowen model of the single-shaft heavy-duty gas turbine,the single-shaft gas turbine control system model can be established.On this basis,ignoring the secondary control means of the gas turbine to further simplify the model,the simplified single-shaft gas turbine control system model can be builded.When the gas turbine is isolated for power generation,we can use the PID speed control system without error.Assuming that the terminal voltage and the excitation voltage of generator are constant,the dynamic characteristics of the gas turbine speed control system are studied.Secondly,the mathematical model of synchronous generator is analyzed and simplified by using the Parker equation,and five-order subtransient model is established to meet the control precision requirements of ship power system.The excitation system of adjusting the terminal voltage of synchronous generator makes use of the phase-compounding and brushless excitation system,and then its mathematical model can be established.Assuming that the mechanical power input and speed of the synchronous generator are constant,the dynamic characteristics of the synchronous generator excitation system are studied.Once again,when the gas turbine is isolated for power generation,considering the coupling between the voltage and the speed,coordinated control can be realized between the gas turbine speed control system and the synchronous generator excitation system,viz,the integrated control system.The simulation model of integrated control system of gas turbine generator set is established,and the dynamic characteristics of the gas turbine generator set under the control of the integrated control system are studied by simulation experiments of sudden loading,sudden unloading,graded loading,graded unloading and three phase shortcircuit fault.Once more,when the gas turbine is connected to the grid,the speed control makes use of P speed control system with error.Based on the simulation model of the integrated control system of the gas turbine generator set in isolated power generation,the simulation model of the parallel operation of the gas turbine generator set is established to simulate the two gas turbine generator sets with the same parameters in parallel,which is to study the power distribution of the two generating units and the dynamic characteristics of the system.Finally,the simulation results show that the control performance of integrated control system of the gas turbine generator set for the voltage and the speed can meet the requirements of the power quality of the ship's power grid during the load fluctuation.The power is reasonably distributed among the gas turbine generator sets in parallel,The system has good dynamic characteristics,viz,that speed,voltage and grid frequency meet the indicators of the power quality requirements on ship's power system.
