In the aircraft assembly,although a small number of titanium/CFRP large diameter hole(19 mm or more),but because of its large diameter,processing is very difficult.Machining large diameter holes usually use three processes,have many processes and low processing efficiency,and titanium and CFRP are difficult processing material.In this paper,a special cutting tool is designed for titanium/CFRP and design a cutting test on five-axis machining equipment and Trimule five-axis hybrid processing equipment.The process parameters were optimized.The main contents include the following aspects:To optimize the geometry of the main of cutting tool.Based on the principle of helical milling cutter,the three-dimensional parametric model of helical milling cutter is established by using abaqus finite element software.The geometric angle is optimized through experiments..Completed the development of the cutting tool.The process parameters of titanium alloy and titanium alloy / CFRP were optimized by experiments..Using orthogonal test and range analysis to perform a helical milling test of 19.05 mm diameter holes.Study on getting Optimization by measuring value of axial cutting forces,machining accuracy,roughness and get processing efficiency.On this basis,the effects of cutting force,machining quality and tool abration on the number of holes.The optimal machining range of helical hole milling machining for Trimule hybrid processing equipment was obtained by simulation software.Based on the machining characteristics of the five-axis hybrid trimule and the mechanical characteristics of helical hole milling,the static stiffness simulation of helical milling hole carried out in samerf simulation software,and the results are suitable for milling process of the static stiffness range.Through the experiment of helical milling,the effect is good.In this paper,the development of the large diameter helical milling cutting tool and parameters optimization.It has an important reference value for improving the quality and efficiency of the hole in the aircraft assembly.
