Robust adaptive beamforming algorithm is very important in practical engineering applications in array signal processing,because of the complexity of the underwater acoustic environment,how well maintained the robustness of the algorithm is always the focus of the study under various conditions mismatches.Combined with the actual application conditions,the paper takes the research for the purpose of improving the robustness of the adaptive beamforming algorithm.The main contents are as follows:1.Mathematical model for the adaptive algorithm,the paper makes the analysis of the mathematical theory on factors affecting the algorithm robustness.Combined with mathematical analysis,from the mathematical point of view,the paper gives the reason why diagonal loading algorithm can improve the robustness of adaptive beamforming algorithm,then gives mathematical explanation of several common diagonal loading algorithm and analysis their performance.2.The paper researchs on the formation of a robust algorithm based on least squares adaptive beam,which has lower dependence on priori information,then proves that the algorithm belongs to diagonal loading algorithm,explains the reasons for its robust nature.Starting from the mathematical structure of the algorithm,the paper gives the objective function for algorithm solving and two effective method: the efficient interior point method and the one-dimensional search method.Among them,the two calculation methods can get the same solving result,one-dimensional search method can effectively reduce the computational algorithm.Via to the simulations and pool experiments,the paper verifies the practical performance of the algorithm.3.Combined with the characteristics of vector hydrophone,the paper makes the analysis of the vector array of applications,Taking into account the characteristics of vector array,the paper gives the promote the application in vector array of robust adaptive beamforming algorithms based on least squares,and studys the mathematical models of the algorithm in vector array and solution methods.Simulation results show that the algorithm has a performance advantage compared to other common vector array robust algorithm.
