Wave Eliminate Characteristics Research Of M Channel Planning Craft

M channel planning craft is a new type of ship which use the air lift.It has good rapidity and wave elimination and has huge military application value of concern.M channel planning craft “Stiletto” which be founded by the navy’s research.And its development was assessed as "the best invention in 2006".At present the research of the domestic hull form is just beginning,so it’s necessary to do some further study on the properties of such an excellent new ship form.Previous research on hydrodynamic performance of the craft always need handmade wooden ship model towing ship model,especially the high speed of towing often costs a lot of time and money.And with the continuous development of computer hardware and the commercial CFD software matures,this article adopt the commercial CFD software Fluent to simulate the M channel planning craft model towing test,compared with the traditional method,the CFD technology is more economic efficiency,and simulation is wider,it is not reality to simulation of nonlinear phenomena,such as wave crushing,slamming may have good simulation effect,which can be easily provide information on the whole flow field.First of all,through a series of relating data,the picture expounds the craft,the structure of the craft,advantages,comparing with the relevant difference of similar ship type,then Maxsurf was adopted to design a inland M channel planning craft,and through the three-dimensional modeling software CATIA for hull lines fairing,output the drawing lines of the ship,renderings.Second,with two VOF algorithm example,which shows the VOF display algorithm,it’s adopted to M channel planning craft,flow field can have a better capture effect,application Savitsky empirical formula to estimate the craft’s sailing posture,using Fluent software under different speed of M type,craft has carried on the numerical calculation,flow field information is obtained by computing wave are analyzed in detail,and discusses the sliding groove of the working principle of the two phase flow.Finally,the Fluent software is used to calculate the ship’s hydrodynamic performance under the condition of shallow water working condition,including 50 kn speed in different water depth and 2m water depth in different speed two cases,and compared the result with the condition of infinite depth,analyzes the shallow water condition influence on M channel planning craft’s wave elimination effect and the work performance of the channel.
