In order to reduce the pressure of traffic jam and environmental pollution,tram gradually grew up in domestic field,now more than 40 cities are under construction or programming.Tram has the benefit of low investment and flexible ways of operation compare with other transport,meanwhile,tram apply compact size hydraulic brake system to replace traditional pneumatic system,lead to a small install space under the vehicle,which can fulfill the requirement of low floor design.In this paper,the author focus on hydraulic parts and brake system section,establish tram's mathematical model,then make simulation analysis.The author simulate the operate characteristic of brake system under different parameters,verify the simulation model is correct through experiment.In summary,the author provides a theoretical method that how to select the hydraulic parts parameters in order to match the requirements of brake system for developing new products.The main contents of this paper include the following four aspects:First of all,the author compare the characteristics of tram with other public transport,expound the tram has practicality and superiority to apply in our country,and then introduces the history of tram,also show technology trend at home and abroad.The author elaborates the research status of simulation technology used in hydraulic brake system,Research the working principle of each brake models on tram;focus on hydraulic brake system function on trailer vehicle.Secondly,the author establish the mathematical model of hydraulic parts and mechanical parts in hydraulic brake system by theoretical derivation,also build the mathematical model of single section vehicle and multi section vehicle.The author use Matlab/Simulink software to build each simulation models,reveal the operation rules of the hydraulic brake system through simulation analysis,the author obtain the influence of the hydraulic part parameters result in simulation outcome.Thirdly,the author carry on test for hydraulic brake products on test bench,compare the operate data with the simulation outcome,and also verify the accuracy of simulation model,in a word,this model can be used as the theoretical basis for product development in the future,so researcher can obtain convenient and fast selection of hydraulic part's parameter to meet the requirement of dynamic characteristic in hydraulic brake system.Finally,the author summarizes the whole paper and prospects.Research the characteristics of the hydraulic brake system on tram is an urgent task to improve the ability of independent innovation.The whole system can be analyzed by simulation,which shorten the design period and improve the accuracy of hydraulic part's parameter selection.The research in this paper can contribute to meet the requirement of operate characteristic in hydraulic brake system on tram in the future.
