Study On The Wind Environment Simulation And Planning Strategy Of Small And Medium-sized City In Southern Hilly Area

In recent years,the acceleration of urbanization in China has not only promoted the rapid development of cities,but also brought many city problems,such as heat island effect and air pollution.The urban's wind environment,as an important part of the urban climate,affects the comfort experience of the residents and is the key to solving many urban climate problems.Nowadays,many urban planners and architects have begun to integrate the wind environment into the design of architectures,but they often focus on the small-scale residential area planning or commercial district planning,and most of the time they take the research of the wind environment as the reference of the adjustment of the program.In short,many planners and architects neither do the research of city-scale's wind environment,nor take the wind environment into consid-eration in the decision-making stage.In fact,due to the terrain factor's influence in the southern hilly areas,the wind environment of city is not exactly the same as the records of meteorological department.Only through the objectively and truely mastering the character of wind environment in southern hilly cities,can we integrate the wind envi-ronment into the urban planning accurately.Taking the small and medium-sized city in southern hilly areas as the object of research,this paper has these several aspects as follow:First of all,this paper collects the literature and researches to find out the rela-tionship of wind environment and city's elements.Then on the basis of the relationship,through summing up the domestic and foreign green building evaluation systems and the urban's wind environment evaluation system proposing by the senior scholar,this paper proposes the evaluation system applicable to the small and medium-sized city in southern hilly areas.Secondly,based on the principle of the "Frontal Area Index" and "Least Cost Path",this paper extends the object of analysis to the terrain elements and derives the methods of simulating the ventilation corridor created by the terrain's influence by using ArcGis.Then this paper summarizes the simulation process of southern hilly area-wind environment by using Fluent.In a word,this chapter puts forward the methods of wind environment simulation of the small and medium city's located in the southern hilly areas,and provides technical support for city's wind environment research.The third chapter elaborates the data and information of weather,terrain and so-cial economy obtained by contacting the local department and investigating the re-search site and sums up the characters of Anren County's terrain,wind direction and wind speed.Then imports these data into the ArcGis and Fluent to simulate the area's wind environment to get the characters of Anren County's wind environment and verify the reliability and authenticity of the simulation methods deduced in the previous chap-ter.Then this chapter summarizes the general.Finally,based on the study of foreign advanced planning case and the charac-teristics of the wind environment in the southern hilly area summarizing earlier,the last chapter proposes the wind-oriented planning strategies,including the land-use,road traffic system,open space and building layout,and hopes to provide some guid-ance and recommendations to the urban planning and researches.
