Abstract/Summary:
With the development of science and technology,human life is surrounded by a wide variety,different forms of information and data.Human beings identify vast amounts of data through graphical form,and in an intuitive way to interact with and observe or browse data,thereby to find the hidden features,relationships and patterns.However,because of the limited display space leads to the data and information can not be completely displayed in big data visualization for users to identify when the the data in high dimensional,large scale and high complexity through a single page to display.At the same time,because of the limited cognitive ability of people,not displayed by the visual information can be noted and identified.Therefore,in the limited screen and limited cognitive constraints,data visualization should be presented in what form and display,is the main content of this study.The main purpose of this paper is to solve the problem of cognitive impairment and cognitive performance caused by the limitations of large data space.Based on human-computer interaction,user experience and cognitive psychology theory,the data type,visual coding method and visualization of the type of analysis,summed up the user mental model and conceptual model matching and thinking decision process.From the user’s point of view,the gradient structure is proposed for the dimension of the data,the structure of the data and the primitive mapping of the data.In view of the data dimension,the gradient hierarchical method of visual guidance is proposed.From the macro perspective,the correlation perspective and the microscopic view of the hierarchical method;for the data of the meta-relationship,proposed with the mental model to match the conceptual model design method;thus proposed based on the goal-oriented progressive hierarchical and interactive methods to solve.High-dimensional data visualization and the contradiction between the limited screen to display.Finally,the open source patent analysis data of WIPO are selected as the object of practice,and the data is designed by visualization of the proposed data to verify the feasibility of the goal-oriented progressive hierarchical and interactive method.
