With the increasingly widespread application of the industrial robots,high-precision NC machine and the new energy automobile,it is necessary to put forward higher requirements for the quality and performance of the permanent magnet motor.As an important part of permanent magnet motor,the quality of the magnetic tile surface affects the performance of permanent magnet motor.The current detection of magnetic tile surface is dominated by artificial visual detection,which restricts the production efficiency of magnetic tile.In this paper,the automatic detection system of magnetic tile defects is designed based on vision inspection technology,which improves the accuracy and efficiency of magnetic tile surface detection.In this paper,the mechanism of surface defects on magnetic tile is analyzed based on the production engineering.The defect types and the corresponding characteristics are summarized,which lays the foundation for the subsequent defect detection.The visual detection system is designed in consideration of visual hardware system and software algorithm.The design of visual hardware system includes selection of hardware,construction of image detection platform,design of lighting mode and camera acquisition mode.Research on visual algorithm includes the selection of visual programming environment,the research of camera calibration,the analysis of image pre-processing,the extraction of defect characteristics,the development of the whole program and the design of PC software.This paper designs the real-time mechanism,the checkup mechanism and the experimental device for surface detection of magnetic tile.All these institutions include magnetic tile grabbing module,conveying module,detecting module and turning module.This paper carries out the theoretical research,calculation,selection and modeling analysis for the designed experimental device.The control system of the experimental device takes PLC as the core,including the communication with the host computer,the positioning of the linear module and the control of the pneumatic system.This paper builds the experimental prototype and debugs the program of the detection system.The experimental device is in good condition.By analyzing the experimental data of magnetic tile samples,it is found that different defects have different detection results.In the case of detection accuracy of 1mm,the success rate of the collapse defect detection on the inner arc surface is 92.30%,while the success rate of the flaw detection on the inner arc surface is only 60%.The other types of defect detection success rates are all above 83%.This research lays the foundation for the industrial application of the automatic detection system for magnetic tile defects.
